Hi friend! I’m so excited you’re interested in essential oils. I know it can be a little overwhelming - that’s why I took so long to actually order my own kit! haha We all start somewhere and I’m super excited to to help you figure this all out! I promise it’s not as overwhelming as it seems :)
The best way to get started with oils and clean living is to order a Premium Starter Kit (they are insanely discounted compared to buying the items all individually).

Essential Rewards
Essential rewards is Young Living’s auto-ship service. It’s a rewards program (very similar to a Costco membership) for anyone who is ordering regularly. You can change it up every single month (you choose exactly what you want to order). You can cancel anytime. When you order using ER, you earn free gifts each month. You also earn points back to use on the YL website (basically you earn store credit with every purchase - the longer you’re on ER, the more store credit you’ll earn each month).
(Essential Rewards is completely optional. You never have to sign up for it. Because you ordered a Starter Kit, you will always get 24% off retail price and you don’t have to ever spend another dollar if you don’t want to. Essential Rewards is just a great option for anyone who is going to be spending money with Young Living regularly for their daily / household items).
To stay on Essential Rewards, you just have to spend 50 PV (about $50) per month (I thought this was a lot, until I realized that I took the money I was spending on Amazon for toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent etc. and spent it at Young Living instead for cleaner, safer products).

What do we use oils for? I use oils for so much, I have been so pleasantly surprised. I honestly thought people were being so dishonest when it came to all the uses for oils - the nurse in me was so skeptical- but after doing my own research, I’ve found so many scientific studies that support and explain how oils truly work. I use them for sleep, for emotional support, for natural alternatives to cleaning / household products (like our tick repellant 😅), and way more. The list is endless. Do you have to order more oils monthly or sell them? Nope! Your kit can be a one time purchase, but along with it comes a wholesale membership, which just means that should you decide to purchase oils in the future, you would get a 24% discount! You will also get a personal referral link should you ever decide that you want to share them, but neither is required.
